About
The Madison County Sports Hall of Fame was established in 2020 and the first class was inducted in April, 2022. Founded by Madison County native Jack Frost, who saw a need to honor the history and role that sports have played in the county for more than 100 years, a group of like-minded citizens and leaders from the Richmond and Berea areas joined together to serve on a Board of Directors who review nominations, select the inductees and plan the yearly induction ceremony.
Mission
It is the mission of the Madison County Sports Hall of Fame Board of Directors to honor and recognize those outstanding individuals and teams of distinction who have brought great recognition to themselves through their performances as athletes, coaches, supporters and contributors to the history of Madison County sports.
Vision
It is the vision of the Madison County Sports Hall of Fame to continually honor the great successes and achievements of individual athletes, coaches, supporters and contributors by enshrining them in a public venue where they will receive perpetual recognition in the Sports Hall of Fame.
